June 14 Report
This weekend saw some better activity in local waters and across the strait in the Five Fingers area. We made it over to the far side of Georgia Strait yesterday and managed to get into 4 chinook salmon, landing 2, a 16 pounder and a 19 pounder. The conditions were beautiful with calm water and warm temperatures. There was also some good reports closer to home with some nice fish being hit off the Fraser River. Now that we are getting later into June we will not have to travel as far to find fish. We rescheduled todays trip due to the blustery weather. The reports from the Victoria and Sooke area have been great so we should some of the fish that they are hitting now make their way towards the Fraser.
