June 16 Update
Fishing has picked up off the Fraser River Mouth. Good numbers of decent sized chinook salmon in the 15-30 pound range have been hooked over the last few days. These fish are a combination of mature and feeder chinook salmon. Also in the mix have been some good numbers of jacks and undersize fish. Nice to see some good activity locally after a slow couple weeks. The reports from Sooke and Comox have been fantastic so we should see some of those fish soon. Crabbing has continued to be great in the harbour.
