Great day on the water this morning! We got an early start to beat the wind. We started trolling in the middle of Vancouver Harbour where we had some good success recently. The wind stayed down long enough to land a nice 23 pound chinook, a coho, and a few undersize chinook. We also lost a solid chinook and did not connect on a cas well. We did a tack down the West Van shoreline to finish off the day as the wind picked up. We lost a coho of the rock jetties before picking up the gear to head back to the Westin Bayshore. A couple boats reported some good coho action off Ambelside during the morning.
