Vancouver Fishing Update JULY 28
Fishing has been consistent along the West Vancouver shoreline over the last few days. There has been a good mix of coho, pink, and the odd big chinook up to 35 pounds thrown in the mix. We even released a few sockeye. Jeff made it over to the Gulf Islands a couple times over the last few days and landed some nice chinook up to 25 pounds.
Fishing should continue to be productive with increasing numbers of chinook and pink salmon showing daily. The big chinook fishery should really start to gather steam in the next week locally. Last year the fishing for big chinook really got cranking in the first week of August.
