Well it looks like we are finally going to get a weekend with sunny skies! The weather has been all over the map over the last 10 days with wind, snow, hail, rain, and sun! Looks like things should stabilize here over the next few days!
We had a couple very encouraging days fishing the Gulf Islands this week! We also heard of a few other good Gulf Island reports. We fished the southern Gulf Islands and hooked some really nice fish up to 21 pounds. It is almost that time of year where the south side of Bowen Island and the Gulf Islands really light up.
Locally, we are still in winter chinook mode in Vancouver Harbour and Howe Sound. There has been some nice fish coming out of both locations. There is the odd tough stretch, but on most days we are having a shot at a handful of fish per charter!
Crabbing and prawning have been solid as usual!
