Sept 28th Update
After 4 or 5 days of unseasonably tough fishing off West Vancouver, we decided to take advantage of the calm seas and brilliant sunshine and run down to the mouth of the Fraser yesterday. We heard some decent reports over the last couple days of some decent chinook salmon. We arrived right on the tide change and had a real good flurry having a shot at 4 nice chinook right away, landing one and losing or missing the rest. As soon as the flood kicked in it was over. Nice to see there are some options while we wait for the Capilano Fishery to fire back up!
