Vancouver Fishing Update Dec 20th

The weather has made things pretty tough on us over the last week.   We have had rain, snow, sleet, and gale force winds with only a few very short breaks in the weather.  So unfortunately, we did have to cancel the charters we had booked for this week.  We did manage to sneak out for the high slack tide on Tuesday morning however.  We hooked a good, legal fish on our first pass at the Cap Mouth and then watch the rods for the next hour.   We headed back after the tide change to grab a hot lunch on Granville Island, happy that we hooked  decent winter chinook!      There are fish around now in Vancouver Harbour and Howe Sound.....we just need some more stable weather to get out there and catch them. Looks like we are going to get a bit of a break in the weather towards Christmas with slightly warmer temps and calmer winds.   We are looking forward to getting out more consistently over  the next few weeks! We are still offering ourVancouver fishing gift certificates at 10 percent off our normal rates until December 24th.  They make great gifts and are also a good way to save 10 percent on all of our fishing charters and overnight packages for 2013 if you plan on fishing yourself.  Check out this link If you see a break in the weather and would like to head out and do some salmon fishing, crabbing, and prawning......Please give us a call we are available on short notice!
