Vancouver Salmon Fishing Report, February 25th
After a 6 or 7 weeks of consistently good weather, it looks like we are in a bit of an unstable pattern. The last few days have been a bit challenging on the water with lots of wind and rain to contend with. It looks like the weather is going to stabilize by the end of the week which will make fishing a little easier.
Iron Marlin braved the wind and the rain yesterday and did decent in Vancouver Harbour. They had a shot at 4 winter chinook and landed 2 nice legal fish. Bon Chovy headed up into to Howe Sound to get out of the wind yesterday and did not fair to well. The winds that were forecasted to be light were definitely not and fishing was tough due to the wind gusts. They landed one undersize, got 150 prawns, and a limit of dungeness crabs, so not a bad result considering the weather.
We are offering our Winter Chinook Special for another few weeks.....give us a call to get out and do some winter salmon fishing for a great rate! Here is the link for more info......
