Bon Chovy Fishing Charters offers consistent salmon and bottom fishing opportunities with some of the calm water on the coast! Unlike the waters near downtown Victoria, Sidney is protected by the Southern Gulf Islands making our Sidney location one of the most comfortable and calmest, year round fishing destinations on the coast. If you are in Victoria, Bon Chovy Fishing Charters is only a 20 to 30 minute drive away! We are only 5 minutes from the Victoria International Airport and only 10 Minutes from the Swartz Bay Ferry terminal.
Salmon fishing is a year round affair in Sidney. We are forunate to be one of the only areas in Southern British Columbia that has chinook salmon retention available 365 days of the year. In addition, we have seasonal fishing opportunities for coho, sockeye, pink and chum salmon. If bottom fish is what you are after, Sidney is a great bet for Ling Cod between May and September. Crab and prawn traps can also be dropped in season.
We operate 2 premium Grady White charter vessels from our Vancouver Island location. The boats are outfitted with top of the line fishing gear, new outboards and the latest fish finding technology. Our boats are rigged to fish and we are committed to a safe, professional charter fishing experience.
We offer year round fishing charters that vary in length from 5 to 10 hours. We also offer multi day fishing packages with accomodations included!
