Fifa World Cup Fishing Report for Vancouver
Right on time for the FIFA World Cup, strong numbers of coho have shown up in local waters in Vancouver. This is excellent news as hatchery coho salmon can be retained. If you are looking to get out coho fishing, the run will likely peak from now until mid July! Our fleet is rigged and ready and only minutes from downtown Vancouver.

The water conditions have been favourable over the last week and our boats have been finding some strong numbers of hatchery coho off the QA, Hump, South Bowen and even a few at the Bell Buoy. This early, strong start really bodes well for the coming weeks. It looks like the coho had excellent survival over the winter and we are going to be in for a fun start to summer!
We have been running smaller spoons and hootchies mainly. There is no need for bait on these aggressive coho! The fish have been super shallow as normal, with productive depths between being 20 to 50 feet down on the riggers!
We also have a 30 foot Grady operating out of the Port Sidney Marina servicing Southern Vancouver Island and doing pick ups from the Gulf Islands! There are opportunities to catch and keep chinook and coho salmon in June as well as ling cod!

Tight lines!!
