Vancouver Fishing Report, May 6th
Today was one of those days that you dream about. Hot weather, calm seas, and some big early season chinook salmon! We had some great luck today landing a nice limit of chinook in the 12 to 26 pound range. The bites were consistent and some of the fish were big. We landed a 26 and 24 pounder and kept a couple another nice ones. Another local regular fishing the same area landed one of the largest fish of the season anywhere on the BC coast....36 pounds!! It is amazing to see the quality and size of these early fish!
We had all of our luck on spoons. The Irish Cream and the new No Banana's were the ticket for us today.
The weather forecast looks stellar for this week with very little wind. Give us a call if you want to head out on the water and enjoy summer weather and some of the best chinook fishing of the year!! Last minute trips are no problem!
